I have never heard of using Crushed marble. But the one thing i have found is with fine sands, and i think crushed marble would be the same, is that they tend to soak alot of moisture from my pythons faeces and urine and it really gets smelly because it is almost impossible to clean. I have found and use a crushed walnut shell which works great. Its not too think or thin and it is fine if the python swallows them. Best substrate i have ever used. Only problem is it can be hard to find.
