Yes unfortunately there are no legal means to import Boas, I can certainly understand your desire to have one as they are my favourite snake. Unfortunately these questions always get the same reaction on here "why would you want one of those exotics when our snakes are the best blah blah blah" I guess having lived overseas and kept 'exotics' I can appreciate all snakes regardless of origin.
