Hey Rob,
Why are you unsure about the Victorian summers? Do you think it will be too hot for them? We get 38+ degree days here quite often, as well as a couple of 40+ degree days each summer. As long as you provide some cool areas in the cage (as described very well by ST and PJ recently) you shouldn't have too many problems.
