When i bought my Diamond it also had not fed at all. I was told to do the braining thing also but it just didnt work. I refused to run around the back yard to catch lizard to scent it with that so,
eventually, I got advice to go down to the local Bait n Tackle shop and buy a smelly pilchard (not frozen, most have fresh ones). My bait shop gave me the pilchard for free when i told what i needed it for.
Anyhow, just rub the pilchard on the pinkie and present it to the hatchlings. Mine didnt even hesitate, went straight for it first go.
Never had to scent a pinkie again after that, just needed the first go.
