Some Help Please

Hey All,
I'm just a little bit worried about my diamond. He ate an adult rat (a fair bit bigger than his usual feeds) on 31/1 he did his white poo a couple of days later. Then i noticed that his skin was really dry looking and flabby so i'm assuming that he is gonna shed. His eyes went blue about 3 days ago and have cleared up now. My main concern is that he hasn't pooed yet and it has been 15 days. I know it is probably cos he is gonna shed but can him holding on be harmful?
