My first snake, a male childreni, usually stops eating for about 6 - 9 months every year, no matter what I do (he even stopped for about 4 - 6 months in his first year). He refused his last feed.

As long as you give them about 5 - 6 hours of heat during the day and don't let the temperature drop too low overnight your snakes should be fine. Just check up on them every now and then for RI, etc. and make sure they always have fresh water.
