In fact carpets and most other species will feed all year round in the wild in your area.
No need to do anything except give them cool nights and hot days for a week or so before and during mating.

Thanks Rob, I'll be giving my diamonds, athertons and darwins a go. I don't expect we'll be suscefull first time around cause we got much to learn but I'd be over the moon if we were.
