Gday Craig,
Youve got one of those Blacksnakeheaded Pythons mate.!!
I have the same sort of thing with mine. My spotted strikes fast and coils up dead mice, but my bhp's seem almost hesitant to eat it. I feed them pre killed adult mice at the moment, the female just goes in slowly mouths it from head to tail and back again and then eats it, the male is just starting to do a quick strike at first and then does what the female does.Neither of them coil it. I ve thought of wiggling the mouse by the tail to see if i can imitate live prey , and get them to coil, but in the long run i'm happy that their eating. Don't worry about how they eat, the fact that they are eating is all that matters
