Hey all,

I have an Ackie arriving in the not too distant future and was looking at making a stack...

I was hoping to use slate tiles or similar with wooden spacers...

I have a few questions;

- 1) what space should each level be apart? I am getting a juvenile but would like to not have to rebuild the stack every few months to widen the gaps...

- 2) Is slate a good idea to use for these stacks? I was planning to use liquid nails or similar to glue the slate to the spacers...this obviously makes cleaning a little more difficult, any other ideas without attaching the stacks to the enclosure?

- 3) How does everyone else make sure their stack is stable in the event of the little beggars digging underneath it etc?

I would also like to see some pics of anyone else's stacks (have done a search and seen a few but many of the older threads have no pictures attached anymore)...

And finally, any other hints/tips for the little guy as he will be my first monitor...
