You say you have only had it for under a week, I recommend you dont handle your little one for a few weeks until he/she has had 3 or so feeds. If you handle to much to soon, he/she might go off his/her tucka, and can be a bugga to get feeding again. Also i would recommend keeping the waterbowl away from the heat, keep it in the cool area.

not having a go at you or anything, just giving advice mate.

I own a male spotted, he's 15months old and iv owned him for 13months He is my favorite snake to handle, he has never even looked like bitting. His name is Gnarles.
