Jouvanile Tree Snake Scenario

I caught a baby common tree snake in my mums office about a week ago, very tiny. I have had him in a plastic storage container, with dirt and leaf matter, a few sticks set up, two black rocks and a little water dish.

I have two baby skinks in there but he wont eat them.

I handle him a fair bit, but I now realise this probably isn't a very smart idea so I'm going to stop for a while, at least till he starts eating. The first couple days he was fine being handled, very calm, but after that he's progressivley gotten more agitated and jumpy.

I noticed a cloudiness over his eyes a few days ago but didn't think much of it, and this morning I find he's completely shedded for the first time. He's still quite jumpy though.

He has no heat mats or light bulbs, because I thought it gets pretty hot in there considering the weather here.

Can anyone give us some tips on getting him eating, heating, any enclosure changes I should make, handling, and anything I should know about him?

Cheers.
