Considering that Hornsby is a very short drive from Gosford (25-30 minutes) and the fact they are both connected by the same bushland the whole way up the F3 its not really mind boggling that the same color traits are found in both locations.

As said many times in this thread the Diamonds in question are Gosford locale as the parents of the parents of the hatchies were legaly wild caught and I can almost bet that Daniel .G could probably tell you exactly where they were captured.

In short they are still a friggin ripper colour and I have no doubt that they are easily some of the best captive breds on the Australian market.

(I also have a pair on hold for next season.....jealous much? )
