Just make sure the perches don't extend to an area in the enclosure where you can't reach. (ie my big wooden enclosure which has massive long branches heading up into the corner) as it has been said....stubborn pythons that want to cling tightly, won't come out.

I've seen people drill holes into their plastic enclosures and threading through branches, but you would have to make sure that they don't get pushed out for easy escape route, and then someone said to me use curtain rail hooks over the edge of the tub..? But haven't figured that out yet.
