Hi all,
I got a female bredli hatchling called 'Cleopatra' she is 9 weeks old and I've had her for two weeks. After one week I had her I tried giving her her first meal without success....I tried just about every thing from scenting the fuzzy with skink to even trying live fuzzy which I really didn't want to do. I even went and bought a quail and scented the fuzzy with it (the breeder told me she had had four feeds on day old quails) but no success.
I spoke to a couple of people on the forum and they told me to leave her for a week and then again. Well today I managed to find a place that sold frozen day old quail, I took a quail out and two fuzzies and thawed them out together to help scent the fuzzies. I just got home from work and offered her a fuzzy and WHAM she took it in a flash and down the hatch it went.
I got so excited as she ate both fuzzies.
The first fuzzie she took, she swalled it backwards not head first. Can this cause any problems?
