read the wiki it should help,
i would leave her alone for 2 weeks, let her become acustomed to you, your house, new smells etc, then go slow, try to pick her up, 10- 15min 4 times a week can to wonders for a python in improving its handlablity
there are so many people on here that have so much info to give, you are in good hands
