Hi all. I had an idea for my diamond python enclosure which I thought was pretty clever and just wanted to run it by people on here for some opinions...

As most people know Diamond Pythons need to be kept cooler than other snakes and therefore I have come up with a way to do this that I think might just work...

I have a pair of Adult Diamond Pythons coming soon and am building their tank myself.
So I was thinking about running a water cooling system through the enclosure to help lower the temps when we have hot dry weather. It would be similar to an irrigation system only without drippers or sprinklers attached and it would be attached to a bar fridge so as to supply a constant flow of cold water through the pipes. It would then be attached to the roof of the tank to cool the tank down. Of course this would only be for hot weather and the cooler weather they would have the heater set accordingly.

I have not worked out the finer details yet but that was the plan so far... Obviously keeping them in an air conditioned room would be easier but we have no air conditioning.

Please let me know what you think and if it may or may not work
