if i were you i would try get the female to eat before you put them together. i think spotteds are more prone to being cannibals than other pythons. i found with my pythons that are fussy eaters, i leave them in a dark box with a dead rat, leave them undisturbed for a few hours and presto! i have juvie spotteds together and they are fine. as long as the size difference isnt huge and they can have their own hiding spots they will get used to each other.
