Well, I finally got her out today after getting impatient and sure enough she started shedding right in my hands after about 10 mins of handling!! Needless to say I put her back in the cage to finish the job before I fed her.
I also decided to give her a rat for the first time which is a significant increase in size over her normal full mouse. The girth of the rat was probably double that of my DP but she got it down...much to my amazement. She's been basking ever since becuase I don't think she can fit in her hides at the moment with such a big gut!!!
Moral to the story - BE PATIENT!!!
Thanks for all the advice. No, any advice on talking the missus into a BHP next???
