um cos it's right there and dead, no need to attack, my stimmy does the same, however my carpet grabs it and strangles the crap out of it before taking 20 minutes to find the head and eat it. i guess some snakes have a stronger feeding response than others. Probably if you jiggled it about you might get a feistier response. Yay atleast it's eating!
