The drought must be taking it's toll on snakes in the bush.
Yesterday I was asked to remove a coastal carpet from a house across the road.
It was between 5 and 6 feet long, quite placid, with a real big head but very skinny.
Skinny to the stage of having lots of loose skin and the belly was totally empty.
I gave it 3 large rats, yum, yum, yes please, and took it down to the local creek to release.
