Turtle with cheesy mouth infection

I have an old long neck turtle who it seems is prone to infections. When outside in the ponds, she spends most of her time sleeping under an artificial rock/waterfall out of the water. Before winter she was checked by the vet and yellowy cheesy stuff was cleared from her mouth. I was advised to not let her hibernate and take her inside for the winter, so she has been in a heated 4' tank the last few months. Even inside, she prefers to sleep on the floating dock, even though the air temp may be 14 and the water 25. Only in the last few very cold nights have I seen her sleep in the warm water. Perhaps that is why I have also noticed a recurrence of the cheesy stuff coming out of her mouth? She's eating ok in the meantime.
What can I do? Would some Bactonex in the water help?
Thanks
Allan
