I don't know alot about Turtles but white cheesy stuff in snakes is Mouth Cranker or Mouth Rot.
Did the vet say it was Cranker?in snakes it can lead to a Respiratory Infection very very quick.
I would get it back to a vet and in the meantime up the temp and feed the animal if it will eat.
Did the vet give the animal a shot of antibiotics and vitamin injection.
