Hey ,
our little bearded dragon has been hiding all day every day, in the cold part of his enclosure. He won't come out for heat or to eat and just wants to sleep all day. He is definatly not getting uv and i wonder if he is alright. He is in a 1200 long enclosure and the temp at the basking site is approx 35 to 40. But he hides away in the cold. We actually get him out and put him under the heat and drip water on his snout so he has a drink and he hangs out under the heat for a while but then goes and hides again. I thought he was suffering RI as he was opening his mouth the other day when i put him under the heat lamp, and was chewing really slow when he ate, and also seemed to have swollen glands in his throat. But if this is the case wouldn't he get under the heat to heal himself?
