This is most likely caused by warm dry conditions rather than mites, so i wouldn't panic.

If it is just a few individual scales then i would leave them for now and let them come off with the next shed. Just make sure that next time it sheds you raise the humidity a bit, or turn the heating down.

30'C during the day is fine.

If it does have mites then you may see them walking over the snake or hidden under the scales, hidden in the fold of skin that runs from the chin down, or in the loose skin that surrounds the eyes. Tiny white specks on the snakes scales may also be seen, white are mite droppings.
