I give mine baths in mildly warm (very mildly) water if they've got poo on them.. i've never met snakes who like to run through their own poo like some of mine! So in the interest of not feeling like i'm touching a big pile of poo everytime i get them out, i occasionally let them swim around in some water! My water python comes out all the time to have a swim/bath in a tub i have. he loves it!
