Upsizing to bigger feeds?

This might be more a matter of personal opinion, but when do you guys decide to upgrade to a bigger feed for your pythons?

Reason I'm asking is my darwin is now about 8-9 months old around 90cm long (very rough guess, I'm at work right now) and is eating a fuzzy rat once a week. I was thinking about going up to weaner rats but they just looked a little too big. Might let him finish this pack of fuzzy's then go up to weaners.
