There's a little thing called Snake PISS and also humidity. It DOES make a heck of a difference if you want you enclosure to last you a long time. For the extra little bit of money ($50 vs $80 for a coloured sheet) it is well worth it.

HMR = High Moisture Resistant.

The particle board is treated with a special glue that stops it swelling, going moudly or falling apart in moist conditions. Ever seen standard particle board when it gets wet?? Not pretty!!

Yes i know you can silicone seal gaps etc but Humidity can be a bitch sometimes, so i'd play it safe and go the HMR. Then again it's your money not mine!
