| The colour of his belly is red. None of the photo's posted actually show this but it is red. Not as deep as the red on the chest and belly of the large males, but it's getting there.
The head is abit of a baby head i know, but he'll get there. He gets weighed and check once every 12 months by a trusted reptile vet that insists it's not too uncommon.
As for him running away. He's tame as water dragons could ever come. Even ask pugsly, he is very well behaved.
