spotted pythons are actually much bigger than
childreni and can grow to over 1.5m, even the southern type get up to around 1.2m. They are also much more heavily built.
All the Anteresia species are great snakes to start with. It really comes down to which one you like best, all can vary in appearance too so have a good look around and dont rush in.
