I guess its very similar to carpet pythons, a hybrid eastern x central will look similar to a natural intergrade, just like coastalxdiamonds etc.
IMO its probably not really much worse than mixing localities for colours, but it is still illegal to make them in most states. Not much to gain from it either IMO.
Some pure aussie dragons get bigger than the german giants anyway im fairly sure, around SE qld(probably many other places too) beardies get over 2' long.
