Probably been aswered before...but why is such a problem for them to breed to early? Exactly what problems can occur if put together to soon, say at 18 months or even earlier?

Please don't get me wrong, as I don't encourage it in anyway, but just my own thoughts...You'd sort of think if you put two opposite sexes together and mating did occur, then you would think it was meant to be and that they are naturally ready to mate?...

Before bumping ugly's out in the wild, I'm sure they wouldn't be asking each other "Are you sure you're over 18 months old?"

Very curious to read comments from more experienced herpers on this one...thanks guys...
