That's true PhilK....my first thought being that often the water temp's; even though cool are some what more stable then the air temps; which may have explained the continued soaking....
This however does not seem to be the case; as dodgie has expressed.
As Inkslinger said monitors will often utilise a water bowl whilst shedding...two days is nothing to be to concerned with.
I'm assuming you have them housed within the same enclosure Dodgie?
If this is the case; keep an eye out the other is not being over dominate (bully) towards it's cage mate...in regards to food etc.....
If temps are fine; feeding behaviour is normal; and suitable hides are provided; i don't think there's to much to worry about at this stage....
