I really don't know about lizards, but birds such as chickens eat rocks and are fine, my dog also will eat a rock occasionally. keep a lookout for it in his poop and if it doesn't come out in a couple of days, maybe take him to a vet. if he stops pooping altogther there may be a blockage caused by the rock in which case get him to a vet asap. hope this helps
