the geckos will be both display and breeding
so, just one of those uv light things on the herp shop and some sand and peat moss stuff.

hey, could i have a sand substrait with a thin layer of peat moss and that would be the substrate.

have you actually kept them, you sound like you know what your taking bout

Cheers,

Luke
This size tank will be fine. Put a mesh lid on top & your done. Substrate for this size tank is simply 2-3 handfuls of double washed white sand from Bunnings & 1 handful of coir peat....mix together and thats your substrate.
Get an ES fitting already attached to the cord & the UVA/UVB globe I suggested previously & set it so its on the outside of the mesh lid, held by a clamp or other easy means & face the globe at one side of the enclosure only 10cm above the mesh lid.....simple.

If you have the tank then all you need to spend money on is the following:

ES fitting & cord $25
Repta SunGlow 40W ES $15?
Sand & Coir Peat $10.00
Mesh lid - $20 - $30

Total really you need to outlay is about $70-$80 total plus your gecko on top of that....Done.
