With the time quickly ticking away, before the season's hatchies start coming out, I knew I would need something new, as last season I really struggled with how to store/house/heat my hatchlings.
I have just got my first Slitherin rack system and could not be any happier with it!
It is very well made, easy to put together, solid as a rock, yet easy to move around. (due to the 6 large commercial grade wheels) The tubs are solid, yet clear enough to easily see what's inside!
I remember when I first saw a thread here about these terriffic rack systems, I spent quite some time just looking at them on the Slitherin website, but thinking they were a tad on the xxxy side. Now having seen one and purchasing my first, I can say with confidence that they are worth every penny!!!
Very compact, space effective, and if you sit down to work out the cost per hatchling storage, it really doesn't end up that much more. By the time you include tubs, racks, heat cords and thermostsats, the slitherin unit may cost a fraction more, but is so much better.
Now I plan to slowly change all my current racks and various storage setups with Slitherin units, and in the end, I will have more space, neater and more hygenic setup. It will also enable me to keep more animals in the same space and probably much easier maintenance than my current arrangement.
All in all, I highly recommend them!!!
