Thats what I thought - mines on the shelf right next to the tubs. I didn't think most put it IN the egg container, since most people have the egg containers well sealed, but I saw a pic with the probe in a container so thought I'd check. I mean, even if theres a degree or so difference between the egg container and the surrounding incubator, with temps set to 30 thats still 28 or 29 which I think is within the suitable incubating temp range and is ok. Just being a pedantic expectant father again. I just wish she'd pop so I can relax.
