Odd Water Dragon Behaviour.
Afternoon guys,
Just after some advice and knowledge on my little eastern water dragon.
So over the last week and a half or so I have been continually woken up by the splashing at scratching of Bowser, the biggest of my water dragons. Now I am fine with him doing this during the day, but he is doing it at about 1-2 in the morning! And it's driving me crazy!
So I'm just after any experience others have had with nocturnal dragons! And i can't afford to let him do it when he is a full grown dragon, because I'm planning to have his enclosure right outside my bedroom window!
So please guys! I need help! I need sleep!
just looking for some ideas on how to reduce his late night parties.
Thanks in advance to all.

It isn't odd, my water dragons are quite often up at all hours doing god knows what. Not sure how you stop them.

There is one step to fix a hyperactive dragon making too much noise. Move the enclosure. There is not much else you can do. You could design the enclosure so he can't really scratch on the glass but you can not avoid the water splashing and general moving.

Thanks guys for your replies,
When you say move the enclosure, are you suggesting that I need to block off any distractions that could be keeping him up? Because I can always throw a towel over the front of his glass perhaps?

Keep a plastic toy lizard.
It seems like you want a puppy tame reptile.

im pretty sure that they mean move the enclosure so that you cant hear the noise.
I held an Albino Olive and I LIKED it!!
Next on the wishlist: An Albino Darwin and an Albino Olive

Yes move the enclosure to another room. Somewhere we are not trying to sleep.

Ok thanks for clearing that up, I will certainly look at where I can fit them in around the house
And to tumbleweed, I'm simply curious into why he is so active at night in comparison to my other water dragons and my beardies, who will happily slump over a branch all night.
So please don't get me wrong, I love him to death, and everything about him, i'm just struggling to sleep and looking for some help. But thank you for your contribution.

Oops, sorry for the font change, not sure what I did there.

You could look at your nighttime heating, I'm not saying freeze them to death, but maybe dropping it a few extra degrees at night might settle him down? All my EWDs are pretty quiet at night.
