RE: New Childrens Python
Leave him alone for a few days to get used to the new environment.
I've been lucky, the first one i got was very curious and was happy to be handled within a couple of days. Curled up on my lap the day I got him whilst drivin home in the car.Waiting here. Sitting in the Dark, Waiting for the Lynch Mobs and Witch Hunters.

Dont even think about holding it until it has first become an established feeder( after 12-15 positive feeds). When it has, i would hook it out (using a modified wire coat hanger)and place it into your hand and make your movements slow and deliberate.
