Bondi Vet TV program...
I've just watched Bondi Vet where there was a huge snake that hadn't eaten for 3 months and they were worried about it. I thought huge snakes like that could easily go 3 months without a meal. I have a 2 yr old Stimmie and his last meal was April 18th, I tried him last week and he refused.....should I be worried ???? I thought he could probably go till about Sept. or October before he came out of his winter rest and ate.
Any ideas or comments....most welcome.
Cheers, AnnieLife offers us many bed fellows....be careful whom you choose !!

yeah they normally hype stuff up and give half truths on tv shows, nothing is ever what it seems. A friend of mine was on Sale of the Century once and it turns out they film the entire week in one shoot and just change shirts. So on tv they say you'll come back tomorrow to defend your position when in reality it's minutes later...and my parents in law where on Harry's practice but what happens during filming and what gets shown is all different it just matters what will get people to watch

dont forget the dramatic music to make it all seem extremely intense

it may come down to them not wanting to look like they are not taking proper care of it from the publics point of view as you tell most people an animal hasnt eaten in 3 months and they would freak out, was it at a zoo??

looked like some kind of proper display enclosure, so probs a zoo or wildlife park of some kind... I only saw the end of it when they gave the needle and then the feeding part.

yeh i said to my family "a python that big can easily go 3 months without eating"
and they were all saying "ehh it cant be good for it ehh ehh ehh" so i havent botherd with talking to them about anything herps related sincehave you ever got an adrenaline surge from holding a cat or dog?....now have you ever gotten an adrenaline rush from holding a snake? | to be scared BY something and to be scared OF something are two completely different things
