need some advise on tank set up

Hi im new here and would like to say i love the site , lots off great info and pics .In a few weeks im getting my first pet snakes , im getting a pair off spotteds .

They are coming in a click clacks but i want to be able to see them so i am using a old 30x30x60cm tank and splitting it in 2 . Is 30x30x30 enough space for young pythons till there about 1 year old and go in the big tank ?

i am planning on having the heat mat half under the devider so each side off the tank has 1/3 heated from the 1 heat mat . inside the tank will be 2 tiles (1 each side) that are 30cmx10cm (above the heat mat) and marine carpet for the other 2/3rds off the floor .

I have made 2 hides out off 110mm poly pipe and have 2 matching water bowls so far . I will also be adding some extra hides and water bowls when i get them . So each snake will have a hide and water bowl in the hot and cold side off their tanks .

I will have the heat mat running of a thermostat and the probe near the middle off the heat mat ( near the devider) and 2 seperate thermomiters to get the max and min temps from each side .

I need some opinions , will this work or should i just keep them in the click clacks ? any advice on improvments is welcome .
