I think my stimmies are getting ready to breed this year :D
So... it all started a few months ago as I began to fatten my female stimmie up- she's now well over 350gm and was feeding voraciously. Our male began to refuse feeds at the end of January and has not eaten since then last week for the first time in 2 years my female stimmy refused her feed. I tried again last night as i was feeding the carpet python and whilst she was very active and alert, she was not at all interested in feeding. I believe this may be the beginning of possible breeding behaviour
My stimmies have never bred before, they are going on ~2.5 years old and hopefully this is the year!

Awesome work. My female is greedy as hell (mind you mine are only 16 months old) but she is loving the food and He has not eaten for about 5 weeks, does not seem remotely interested, tried a couple of things too including temperature increase. I am hoping if I am super luck they will breed at the very start of the year. They are both just over 70cm and the female is about an inch across so another 8-9 months of ratey goodness might get my over the line, I hope! If not there is always the following year or the 10 odd after that

Awesome work tho, hope they breed for you!"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." Thomas Edison
