Weird pigmentation on Platinum Mac
This little guy only started eating recently, has put on some size and just shed. When cleaning it out today I had a closer inspection after the shed, and it has very patchy pigmentation. Very odd looking indeed, and nothing like the other plat hatchlings from this clutch or the last one.
Anyone seen anything like this before? Mum has silver pigmentation around her head and neck area, but it didn't really start showing until she was about a year or so. Wonder what its going to turn out like?

Never seen anything like it, but I am sure the PMs will start flooding in from buyers! It is a very interesting pattern. It looks very much like granite (the rock), even if not the granite mutation.

absolutely love it

LOL! No point pm-ing really as its not for sale. I do have siblings available, I just haven't had them sexed yet.
Weird looking thing, TBH its looks kinda mouldy at this stage whilst its still got the pink hatchling glow going on. I just wondered if anyone had any hatch like this as I'd love to know how they turned out as adults.

Real granite is pink, white and black, so it really works for me...

The fawn coloured bits will end up platinum, same as in this pic. I guess the paler bits will either be pink, white or perhaps bluey silver like mum has on her head/neck. Wonder if it will continue to lose pigmentation as it grows.

As usual, plenty of people on the list dropped out by the time they were ready to go. Not even going to bother with a list next year, it seems kind of pointless!
