Congrats Derek,

I have to agree with Boa, that is a stunning BHP you have hatched out there, beautiful. Good luck with the rest of the clutch.

Very nice!
The neck looks almost deep yellow compared to the rest of the body, almost bumble bee colour, or is it just the lighting of the photo.
Love the tightly knit banding of this little snake.
Looking forward to seeing the rest of the clutch.

Cheers Neil

Thanks again everyone. I'm very happy with how these guys look.
Here are 2 more that came out today.

You know Neil...all of her hatchies have had that yellow around their necks. The one's from last year did as well.
They seem to turn into that color over time.
My holdbacks from last year are yellow like that.
Here's one below.

Since I'm in the US...the locale isn't provable but.......the male is a western black and white...
and the female is an un-known animal.
Although she is large in size...I believe her to be mostly western blood as her head scales indicate.

Thanks again everyone.
More to come.
D.

Interesting in regards that yellow Derek.
I have to say that the holdback has some of the best colour I have seen on a juvie bhp, it will be interesting to see how it matures and if it holds it's colour into maturity.

Congrats again.

Neil

WOW. If that hold back does hold those colours all the way through to adult hood that would be one great breeding line to work with. Verry jealous, and once again Derek love the work that you are doing with the BHPS.
