Maxwelton is in Nth Qld between Charters Tower and Mt Isa. I would not have thought it to be an Oenpelli. Would have been great to see in the flesh what ever species it was.

The lady I got the photo off (mines a copy) has the original, the parchment is old and faded and the photo isn't in great nick (mind you for the age of it, it's not bad). I had no idea it had been published.
