4 new snakes

On Friday I added another 4 snakes to my collection.
Two male coastals and two Darwins (sex unknown).
One of the coastals is a Brisbane male and a nice match for the female I bought off Mel.The other is black with brown markings and also quite nice.
The Darwins are apparently from Snakes NT. They are about 140cm long and very fiery. As soon as I opened one of the bags the Darwin launched itself at my face and then continued trying to bite me. I have put them in a dark room and will give them a few days to settle in and then try to handle them.

Nearly forty now and counting.
I think of it as my retirement plan.

COngrats Greebo,
Hope you enjoy em. Darwins are a bit like that sometimes, especially bloody wild ones, most of them are absolutely crazy!

Thanks Brodie, I was wondering if they were wild caught or simply have not been handled enough. My 6ft male is a real pussy cat but Darwins do have a bit of a bad reputation.

Could be WC Greebo. I highly recommend snakesNT but the fact is they do sell WC snakes more often then not, usually in good condition though.
Cheers

I used to have snakes in nearly every room except the bathrooms.
I have a large shed that is now converted with plenty of room for more snakes. It took me a while to set the shed up, as security was a major issue.
I also started building an outdoor pit for my blue tongues on Easter weekend. I just have to put some netting over the top and it will be finished. I am rather happy with the design, it is 3m x 3m and designed so I can build another 3-4 pits running down the fence line.

HI Greebo,
If you dont mind me asking, how much did it cost to convert the shed? (ballaprk will do) as I am running out of room fast and am thinking of getting a large shed built once I leave school which will be this yr!!

I already had the shed. I just had to insulate it and put in interior walls, ventilation and an alarm system. The shed itself is 10mx4m and I did it over a period of time so I am not sure how much I spent.
Sorry, I know this does not really help you.
