He is unusual in his hatchling colour from what i see,
He is as black as a red belly, it is soo black,
and the colour is like an apricot colour, virtually orange in some photos.
and yet in other photos he looks like the most unbelievable gold is coming through.
then again he might be muddy yellow! the lemon one is getting more yellow daily he will be a good jungle too, though the other guy could be quite special.
both are starting to handle, only 3 bites from the lemon today!
I'm starting to love these jungles, seeing yours gives something to aspire to, it could be a long time before i'm tired of them. At one stage i was going to onsell them because they were too aggro. for me so I am pleased they are settling!
Patience is the key!
Cheers,
Ad
ps I got them from my friend and mentor (the bloke to blame for my reptile fascination!) from far north qld. - its a long story, both jungles have the same father is all I know for certain and that both are from excellent lineage. |

He is shedding at the moment, I took some photos yesterday and noticed very milky eyes. Because he is changing, I will be soon be clicking away constantly!!! Ive only recently got the camera so I dont have any clean yellow shots which is disappointing. Only one of him feeding.
My setup is very basic ($9 click clack) with a heat pad.
The only reason I had the photos of him posted was because of the colour change and I was worried, (he has red colouring coming out everywhere) so I had some experts look at the photos.
I shall put a shot of him up from yesterday! http://www.aussiepythons.com/modules...view_photo.php
Cheers

ive just taken a couple of shots of my jungles together,
it really highlights the difference seeing a 'normal' jungle
next to my darker one.
their colours are starting to really happen now!

the jungle pythons are from far north qld,
the breeder is a friend of mine, he was asking $350 for the snakes. He will probably have more this season coming.
they are aggro, in this photo shoot they would have bitten me 6 times.
just when you think they settle they turn around and bite you for something to do!
Definitely nice to look at, though they are not for friendship! The intergrade would make a better handler.
Cheers,

It sorta reminds me a little of an IJ carpet. | | | |
