A little sunshine

I finally got my pair of BHP's out for some shots. The female is 2.89m (snake measurer) and the male is 2.25. They weigh 9.7kg and 2.8kg respectively (mind you I haven't weighed them since late spring). They are called frank and ferta (real funny I know). (sorry about the photo quality, we aren't that flash at taking pics).

He's a crack up, no fear. I'm very careful with him. I couldn't bear the thought of something happening to him. 19 months old and flat biscuit with everything.

I reckon I need to upgrade my camera, has anyone got any suggestions (not too expensive, I can't really justify it). The photos look ok real size, but as soon as they are resized the quality drops.

And they move so fast, I have a daughter (3) who is now scared of most things but the young fella has no fear and is as quick as a whip.

Anything from 5 megapix up is fantastic. but a 5 megapix should suffice for snap shots with enlargements up to 10x12in

I have such a fantastic oportunity where I am living at the mo to take some great photos. Old timber, erosion gullies etc. These photos were taken at 4 meg, as I said earlier they look great on screen until I resize. Whether it be up or down. I'd love to be able to size up to 24 inch or better. Do standard cameras of this size (say 7-8meg) take quality photos- zoom etc?

She is mrmikk, she has the loveliest temprement too. Loves chooks, just gotta be careful when she can taste/smell food. I have her in a nice routine of only feeding in a tub though. So very predictable.

Just purchased a Fujifilm Finepix Z. Its !0 megapixels and very easy to navigate. Its got face recognition too so it focuses on your face (works on humans not snakes though)
Cost $248. Takes awesome pics.
Very nice BHP's too They look like they're lovin it
