Had to change the newspaper in my cages today, lifted up a hide to remove it and the snakes, and found a pair of Port headland stimmis going for gold. Couldnt get a decent pic of their tails actually wrapped around each other as it was towards the back of the 'ball' they had made, and i didnt want to disturb them too much just to get a pics, but here is what i did get -   
ps - this is the first time I have caught any of my stimmis in the act, as they are quite secrative about it, so i was pleasantly suprised to get a quick peep. |

The male in the pic is a massive stimmi, before cool down he weighed 950gms, not even an overweight snake, has a massive head also. |

In general, wheat belt stimsons are better looking but the nicest examples from Port Hedland are as good as any. | |
