Advanced Juvinile?

I'll make this simply...........what does advanced juvinile mean for a snake......what do i expect from a blonde mac 1ry old female with this discription?

I'd probably expect it to be about 10-11 months old. Advanced juvenile is basically a hatchling that has grown a bit i.e. 6-12 months old.

Ahh... but they put the age as 1 year so i thought that description would refer to size.

Its all good though. :-D

Yes........is 1yr old.......advanced juvie fem blonde mac..........,
so does that mean big for age......bloke bought whole hatch to get 1 female to keep....so i gather he increased the growth rate to find out gender? is that it .......bigger girl than normal that age???????

He probably bought the whole clutch so he could pick out the nicest one once they'd had a few sheds. He also probably made a tidy profit on them. They can be probed almost as soon as they've hatched, so that wouldn't be the reason. Advanced juvie simply means it is an older juvenile, rather than a younger juvenile.

Greetings Miss Dragon,one year old,well it could be yearling advanced juvy is one thats a few months old and feeding well like Mr Bread said,other than that youll have to ask your accountant or something Ha ha lifes such a drag baby,then it all turns black and thats a right proper bitch

That makes sense.........yes he picked a female he wanted & now they are a yr old offered me 1 for $330....a real blonde...hope that is a good price....said she could breed next season?(dont know how old snakes can be before breeding)....will see & thankyou everyone

It's possible to breed them at 18 months, but you have to pump them full of food, which in my opinion is not a good idea. If it is a really nice blonde it may well be worth $330. But without seeing it i might say it is a touch overpriced. And now i'm certain he's made a tidy little profit from the clutch.
