advice needed

Hi everyone,

Can some help me I got my darwin out today to clean his pen and he was expelling air and I'm not sure why. at first I thought he was doing at the dogs but then he was just doing it when nothing was around to hiss at. Is this common or not.

I've read on here that their hiss can mean a few different things. Maybe he was just in a cranky mood at that time?
